The course

Dcode Liverpool's specialist English course is for people who

• already have reached an intermediate level of English in all four skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing
• are motivated adults
• need to develop workplace and social English
• like to function in small work groups
• are interested in making links with companies in Liverpool

Content

Your course will contain these activities;

• Round-table discussions with figures from local business
• A daily analysis of the Business News, both local and international
• Focus on Language
• Visit to a local enterprise
• Language Skills for Managing
• Feedback

All course components will reflect the interests and working areas of our participants. Through previous contact we will establish which business topics interest you most.

Participants: Adults (25 & over)
Course Length: One week, 5 working days
Tuition: 35 lessons in one week (25 hours tuition in total)
Class Size: Maximum 10
Levels: Intermediate to Advanced
Location: The course is held in an exclusive conference venue in the city centre.
Special Feature: As part of their course, all participants will have the opportunity to meet figures from local business in informal settings. This course element will provide a chance to network and to communicate in English on topics of professional interest.
